Campbell: More than a paycheck article referring to the flag football experience

SDSU Homecoming for Rookie Symposium
On July 1st, 2008, the NFL hosted 250 military kids from the Camp
Pendleton area at their NFL Rookie Symposium Class of 2008 event.
The rookies of 2008 played flag football and spent the afternoon with
the kids in attendance. The event was such a blessing for our military
kids; they had a blast! Operation Sweet Dreams played a part in this
wonderful event by coordinating the kids in attendance with the NFL.
Check out the links below highlighting this special event.
Operation Sweet Dreams and the kids of Camp Pendleton would
like to give a special thank you to the NFL staff and rookies for
creating such a special event. It was a day we will all remember
forever.

If you or your child were present the day of the event, and you
would like to send a thank you to the coordinators of this event on
the NFL side of things, please email Cindy Farnum at
cpmfarnum@cox.net for contact information.
